Day 1: Arrival Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Your journey starts from your arrival at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Our team will be standing ready for your pick-up and drop you off at the hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you will be able to visit the Gandan Monastery. Meals: B, L Accommodation: hotel

Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai

Elsen Tasarkhai is a breathtaking semi-desert area in Mongolia. It features expansive sand dunes, rocky mountains, and lush green surroundings, providing a unique blend of diverse landscapes. You will be able to ride a camel and explore the sand dunes in this mesmerizing natural setting. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: tent

Day 3: Karakorum

Karakorum, once the capital of the Mongol Empire in the 13th century, holds rich historical significance as a cultural and political center. We will explore its archaeological remains. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: tent

Day 4: Erdene Zuu Monastery

Erdene Zuu Monastery, located in Kharkhorin, Mongolia, is a historic Buddhist monastery founded in 1585. Erdene Zuu is surrounded by a massive wall containing 108 stupas, 108 is a sacred number in Buddhism, and it is also the number of beads in a Buddhist rosary (mala). Erdene Zuu remains an active Buddhist monastery. We will also visit the Karakorum museum. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: ger

Day 5: Arrival at Tuvkhun Khiid

Tuvkhun Khiid, located in the Khangai Mountains of Mongolia, is a historic monastery with a meditation cave once used by the renowned Tibetan Buddhist monk Zanabazar. It is located at 2,400 meters above sea level, it offers a serene escape, stunning views, and a glimpse into Mongolia's spiritual heritage. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: tent

Day 6: Hike to Tuvkhun Khiid

The hike to the Tuvkhun Khiid will take about 2h. Depending on our time of arrival we would be able to attend the Monks’ ceremony. The monastery is situated atop a rocky cliff. Along the way, we will encounter several meditation caves and monuments dedicated to deities. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: tent

Day 7: Tsetserleg sum

Tsetserleg Sum is part of Arkhangai Province, Mongolia, known for its picturesque landscapes and cultural attractions. The region features the charming town of Tsetserleg, surrounded by rolling hills and offering access to nearby natural wonders like the Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park and the Khorgo volcano. Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: ger

Day 8: Tsenheriin Haluun Rashaan

The Tsenkher Hot Springs is very popular for its therapeutic properties. You can relax in the warm, mineral-rich water surrounded by the Mongolian countryside." Meals: B, L, D Accommodation: ger resort

Day 9: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar

We will drive back to Ulaanbaatar after breakfast. After arrival, you get free time to discover the city. Meals: B, L Accommodation: Bayangol hotel

Day 10: Tumen-Ekh and shopping traditional market

This day will be filled with good food and culture.

Day 11: The grand Naadam opening

The State Naadam Festival in Mongolia traditionally opens with an elaborate ceremony that includes a parade featuring participants dressed in vibrant traditional costumes, showcasing the "Three Manly Games" of wrestling, horse racing, and archery. Meals: B, L Accommodation: Bayangol Hotel

Day 12: Naadam: Horse and Archery competitions

Early morning after breakfast, we will drive to Khui Doloon Khudag, west of Ulaanbaatar, where the first horse race and archery competitions will take place. In the evening, you will have free time to discover the city for one last time. Meals: B, L Accommodation: Bayangol Hotel

Day 13: Drop-off Airport
